General:1. What is the PSTSync ? PSTSync is an 5-star and Double Platinum award-winning Outlook synchronization tool for synchronizing Microsoft Office Outlook. All PSTSync versions, whether Trial or Full purchased editions DO NOT INCLUDE ANY VIRUS, SPYWARE, ADWARE, SCUMWARE, MALWARE, etc, we scan all released versions completely with over 20 different programs before we release them! 3. What version of Outlook do I need? PSTSync will work with Microsoft Outlook 2000/2002/2003/2007. 4. Do I need Microsoft Outlook installed? Yes you do need Microsoft Office Outlook installed. 5. How long does it take for synchronization? The time it takes for synchronization to complete depends on a number of factors. Size of PST file, location of PST file & Compare options selected. Complete Outlook Syncs can take anywhere between a few seconds to a few minutes. 6. What are the trial limitations? PSTSync has a few limitations in place so that it encourages you to register the product. Trial Limitations: 1. Trial versions of PSTSync will expire in 15 days from installation. 2. Trial versions of PSTSync will allow you to synchronize one outlook folder at a time. 3. Trial versions of PSTSync will synchronize maximum 300 items. 4. Trial versions of PSTSync do not allow use of SmartMove® & SmartCopy® 7. I forgot my encryption password and I cant open my PST file? Sorry, there is no way to retrieve your PST file data if you have forgotten your encryption key. Encryption is used for scrambling data so it is unreadable by humans unless the exact encryption key is entered. The key is case sensitive. Please use caution when using Encryption. There is also a warning on the PSTSync Encryption dialog that basically says, proceed with caution. 8. Is there a limit on my PST file size that I can load into PSTSync? No, there is no limit on the file size, unless you are running Windows 98SE or Windows ME. 9. I added a password to my PST File from PSTSync, How do I now remove it? Adding a password to a PST file is a one-way process. There is no known way for a password to be "removed" from a PST file. It is a totally undocumented by Microsoft. You can try 2 things in case you do need to remove a password. (1)Read this PDF file by amset.info, it tells you how to remove a password from a PST file but it is not a supported option. Also, it does not work with Outlook 2003 files. (2) Use a Password Recovery tool. Here is a Google Directory of Password Recovery companies. We do not endorse any one of them. Caveat Emptor. 10. How do I make a backup of my PST File as a safeguard? To save your PST file as a backup so in case of emergency backup, you can follow these steps. These steps are designed for Outlook 2003 & 2007 but Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002 should be similar. 1. Open Outlook and click on File menu and select Import and Export option 2. Select Export to a File in the wizard that comes up. Click Next 3. Select Personal Folder File (.PST) under the Create a file of type section. Click Next 4. Click on Personal Folders in the Folder Selection section. 5. Place a checkmark next to Include subfolders. Click Next 6. Choose a location to Backup. Specify a location by clicking on the Browse button. You can choose a location like an external hard or a secondary hard drive for safe backup locations. 7. You can choose one of the radio buttons in the Option section or you can leave it default. Click Next 8. Click Finish at the bottom to start exporting. 11. What can I do with PSTSync? What's the upgrade policy? Any updates released within the same Major version is provided free of cost. If we add a drastic amount of features then we may up the version number and the cost of the upgrade will be nominal and will be determined at that time. 3. Is tech support free? Yes! It's free for all. 4. What happens after I send in the order? You will receive an email directly from Shareit, confirming your order shortly after making your purchase.
